1. Select the printer for which you want to change the Printer Port, and click [Configure Printer.]
2. In the "Configure Printer" dialog, select Device > Configure Port...
3. Choose the Printer Port you want to use, and, if needed, click [Configure] button (Figure 1). Some printer port types do not require configuring to be used.
4. Configure your settings for that port, and click [OK]. For information on how to configure each port, click each Print Port link below. 

NOTE: When a printer is first installed, the Configure Printer Port dialog automatically opens.
